Autism and Communication Support Assistant

Are you passionate about communication and inclusion? We are recruiting an Autism and Communication Support Assistant for a specialist setting focused on personalised learning.

You will help pupils develop communication skills and access learning confidently.

Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and group communication support.
• Support sensory and emotional needs.
• Encourage social interaction and independence.
• Work collaboratively with staff and specialists.

Skills & Qualities:
• Patient, understanding and adaptable.
• Interest or experience in autism support.
• Strong communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
