We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Attendance Officer to support and improve student attendance. This role will make a direct impact on students’ learning by promoting punctuality, consistency, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, analyse, and report on attendance data.
Communicate with students, parents, and staff regarding attendance matters.
Support attendance interventions alongside relevant staff.
Build positive relationships with families, including home visits if necessary.
Liaise with external agencies and the Local Authority as required.
Provide data and reports to inform school leadership decisions.
Person Specification:
Organised, approachable, and confident communicator.
Strong attention to detail with a solution-focused mindset.
Ability to manage priorities and identify trends.
Experience in education and knowledge of attendance legislation advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
