Assistant Patrol Officer

The role :
walk the school site throughout the day to support good behaviour and a safe environment.
motivate and encourage students, in particular those identified as vulnerable, at risk of exclusion or involved in anti-social behaviour
provide a visible, supportive and accessible presence around the school site
patrolling the school grounds to ensure the school is secure
responding to Patrol calls from teachers to escort students to another classroom or to welfare if required
Checking CCTV as required
providing First Aid if required (training available)
The successful candidate will be:
well-organised & hold attention to detail.
proactive & positive
flexible in approach with all students
Hold strong communication & rapport with students 11 years – 16 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
