Assistant Head of Year – Job Opportunity - Temp to Perm

Your Role
We are seeking an Assistant Head of Year to work closely with their allocated year group, promoting high standards of behaviour, attendance, and punctuality. The successful candidate will also provide strong pastoral support to ensure the needs of all students are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and promote excellent behaviour and attendance across your year group.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance where needed.

  • Celebrate and reward students’ positive achievements and progress.

  • Support and develop the practice of colleagues within the pastoral team.

  • Strategically lead and oversee initiatives that support student engagement and growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
