We’re looking for dedicated ASD Learning Support Assistants to work 1:1 with students at a fantastic school in Newcastle. This school prides itself on being a friendly, nurturing environment where every child is supported to succeed—and they’d love to welcome someone like you into the team.
What You’ll Be Doing

Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a child with ASD

Helping students develop communication, social, and learning skills in a calm, structured way

Acting as a mentor, guiding children to make positive choices for learning and behaviour

Supporting children during unstructured times, running creative activities to build confidence and friendships

Recent experience supporting children with ASD

Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, steady approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
