What your day might involve

Supporting autistic pupils with communication, sensory regulation, and transitions

Using visual timetables, simple language, and structured routines

Working closely with teachers, behaviour specialists, and therapists

Creating calm, low-stress environments for learning and independence

Offering encouragement, patience, and a warm presence throughout the day
You’ll be great for this role if you have

Experience in ASC settings, SEN schools, care, or youth support roles

A steady approach when the day doesn’t go to plan

An understanding of sensory needs and flexible communication styles
