ASC Teaching Assistant Required in HuddersfieldSpecialist Setting!

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced ASC Teaching Assistant to join our specialist setting in Huddersfield. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and make a positive impact on their educational journey.

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with ASC in both academic and social settings
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Utilize appropriate strategies to promote communication, social skills, and independence
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching staff and parents

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with ASC
  • Sound knowledge of ASC and evidence-based strategies for supporting individuals with ASC
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate oe willing to under go one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
