ASC Teaching Assistant

Location: Rotherham
Job Type: Supply Teaching
Industry: SEN Support Jobs
Reference: rthasc
Salary: £70 - 80 per day + PAYE + £250 Referral Scheme
Job Published: over 1 year ago

I am currently looking to recruit a number of support staff to work on a full time basis immediately once cleared.

As a Teaching Assistant you will support pupils, ensuring that they are getting the most out of their education.  You will work closely with a team of likeminded staff who share the same values and work together to achieve the same goals. You will be required to work on a 1:1 or 1:3 basis.

Based in Rotherham, the “good” Oftsed rated school caters to children with ASC and Communication and Interaction difficulties. The setting works hard to ensure that all staff are committed to enabling students to fulfil their potential both academically, socially, and emotionally. It is important for them to create a safe, accepting, and nurturing environment while providing the best chances possible for their students.

Being adaptable in this role is key to being successful. You will be focused on following the ethos and aims of the school, while being a friendly face for students to go to in times of need. You must be open to going the extra mile to ensure students are given the best education possible.

A qualification in Team Teach is essential and can be provided should you have not completed the training.
