Are you based in the Nottingham/Derby area and have experience working with children with special needs?

I am currently looking to recruit TAs to work full time at an Ofsted rated “Good” school on a long-term basis from September.

Working as a Teaching Assistant you will provide support for students in order to ensure that they’re getting the best out of their education and are given an equal opportunity to succeed outside of the classroom. You will support teachers by helping adapt work to ensure that students are making efficient progress.

The school caters to children with severe and complex needs and children with high levels of autism. Their aim is to ensure that students make the best progress they possibly can and for them to play a full and active part in the life of the school and in their communities.

As an individual you will be outgoing and confident in your abilities to provide the best outcomes for your students.

You must be dedicated, motivated, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential.

Although not essential it is highly desired that you have training in Moving and Handling.
