What the role involves as an Art Teacher

You’ll teach Art across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that encourage creative risk-taking, skill development and personal expression. The school has supportive leadership, good facilities and a department that values experimentation and inclusion.

Your responsibilities as an Art Teacher

  • Delivering practical and theory-based Art lessons
  • Supporting pupils with a range of artistic abilities
  • Preparing resources for drawing, painting, sculpture or digital media
  • Encouraging creativity while building technique and confidence
  • Celebrating progress and showcasing student work

You’ll thrive in this role as an Art Teacher if you

  • Hold QTS in Art or a related discipline
  • Enjoy working with a variety of materials and styles
  • Bring enthusiasm and structure to practical lessons
  • Have strong behaviour management with a positive, encouraging tone

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
