Art Teacher / Art Instructor
South Leeds | Full-time | Start ASAP

Are you an Art Teacher or creative instructor who loves bringing ideas to life in the classroom? We’re working with a secondary school in South Leeds that’s looking for an enthusiastic Art specialist to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a hands-on, creative role where you’ll have the freedom to inspire pupils, build confidence and encourage self-expression through art. Whether you’re a qualified Art Teacher or an experienced Art Instructor with strong classroom presence, the school is keen to meet people who are passionate about engaging young people.

The role:

  • Art Teacher / Art Instructor position

  • Full-time, starting ASAP

  • Based in South Leeds

  • Teaching Art across secondary age groups

  • Supportive department with access to good resources

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience teaching or delivering Art in a school or educational setting

  • Can engage and motivate pupils with a range of abilities

  • Brings creativity, patience and positive energy to the classroom

  • Is organised, adaptable and confident managing a classroom

  • Is available to start at short notice

This role would suit an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge, an instructor with a creative background, or someone keen to step into a school where the arts are genuinely valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
