Are you an Art and Design Teacher who loves helping students find their creative voice?

We’re working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Tower Hamlets looking for a passionate Art and Design Teacher to join their creative department. The school values the arts, encourages individuality, and supports teachers with clear routines and a collaborative team culture.

The role includes:

  • Teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available if you’re keen

  • Delivering engaging lessons across areas such as drawing, painting, mixed media, and contextual studies

  • Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and encouraging creative confidence

  • Contributing to displays, projects, and the wider creative life of the school

  • Maintaining positive behaviour and clear classroom expectations

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)

  • Has experience teaching Art and Design in a UK secondary school

  • Can balance creativity with strong classroom structure

  • Brings enthusiasm, organisation, and a calm, supportive presence
