Administrator - Secondary School

 

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a school administrator with various responsibilities to work in a secondary school on a long term cover role . We are looking to appoint a skilled and professional receptionist for this important role within the school.  You will provide a polite and friendly welcome to all visitors, parents, students and fellow employees that arrive at the school and you will be dealing with queries in person, by phone, email and post in an efficient and accurate manner.

 

Office tasks: -

1. Answering the telephone 

2. Photocopying and filing 

3. Administering first aid 

4. Dealing with deliveries of resources and supplies 

5. Dealing with enquiries from staff and visitors as and when is required

6. Liaison with the Systems and Services Manager as and when is required 

7.             Registering students with SIMS

 

Skills: -

1. Ability to work on their own initiative 

2. A team player 

3. Computer literate 

4. Have a ‘can do attitude’

5.             Uphold the professional attitudes of the school

 

Knowledge: -

1. Understanding of a school environment desirable

2. Multi task and think on their feet 

3. Understand the importance of confidentiality

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
