Protocol Education are working with a secondary school in Walthamstow who are seeking to appoint an Academic Coach.

The school are looking for academic coaches in English, Maths and/or Humanities.

You will be supporting students with their academic development and progress, creating appropriate resources and strategies to coach students either 1-1 or in small groups.

The successful candidate must have a passion for learning and put the needs of the students first.

As well as building positive relationships you will be identifying barriers to learning whilst delivering and planning programmes of support.

The school is equipped with modern technology and has state-of-the-art facilities improving the educational outcomes of their pupils.

Not only is the school well respected with an excellent reputation, but it is also located in the heart of Walthamstow, making travel to the institution seamless.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2:2 degree
  • Strong literacy and numeracy abilities
  • A proactive, approachable and calm professional
  • Ability to identify and manage appropriate sanctions and rewards
  • Ability to set targets to improve learning outcomes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
