5-Day Guaranteed LSA – Behaviour & Emotional Regulation Support

Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full time, long term, 5-day GWA
Start: ASAP
Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

This specialist provision supports pupils with autism, sensory needs and social-emotional challenges. They’re looking for a strong, dependable LSA who can commit to a full week through our Guaranteed Work Agreement.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation

  • Using de-escalation strategies during challenging moments

  • Building trust and offering consistent boundaries

  • Helping pupils access learning at their own pace

  • Working closely with the school’s behaviour and wellbeing team

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Drives and can travel between classes or nearby partner schools

  • Can commit to 5 full days every week, guaranteed

  • Has experience with SEND, behaviour or SEMH

  • Stays calm and grounded when things feel unpredictable

  • Is fully compliant or willing to complete checks quickly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
