We’re looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in a mainstream primary school. The role involves supporting a child who needs extra help—academically, emotionally, or behaviourally—so they can thrive in class.
This is where your calm presence and ability to build trust really matter.
What the role involves:

Providing consistent 1:1 support during lessons and activities

Helping the pupil stay focused, engaged, and included

Supporting learning through tailored strategies and encouragement

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to meet specific needs
We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children (school-based or similar)

Can offer empathy, structure, and clear boundaries
-
Understands how to support pupils with SEND or SEMH needs
-
Is reliable, flexible, and up for a challenge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
