We’re working with a lovely BS5 primary school looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism on a 1:1 basis.

This pupil can experience dysregulation and needs someone confident in behaviour support and ASD de-escalation. You’ll be using structured routines, visual supports, and calm, clear communication to help them access learning and feel safe.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has hands-on experience with ASD

  • Is trained or experienced in behaviour de-escalation

  • Can build strong, trusting relationships

  • Is patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about SEND
