We’re partnering with primary schools across Lewisham to place compassionate and reliable 1:1 Support Assistants. These full-time, long-term roles focus on supporting individual pupils with additional needs—whether it’s autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language challenges.
You’ll work closely with the pupil, teacher, and SENCO to create a safe, engaging space where progress feels possible—and every small win is a big one.
What you’ll be doing:

Providing 1:1 support tailored to the needs of one pupil

Supporting behaviour, communication, learning, and emotional regulation

Building trust and structure in the classroom and beyond

Helping your pupil feel seen, heard, and ready to succeed
What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting

Calm, kind, and flexible approach to challenges

Clear communication with both pupils and adults

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
