We’re looking for a caring and committed 1:1 Support Assistant to join a welcoming school that needs someone calm, consistent, and ready to make a real difference to one pupil’s day. You’ll be supporting a child who benefits from structure, encouragement, and gentle guidance to help them feel settled and confident in the classroom.
Your day-to-day

Providing one-to-one support in lessons and during transitions

Helping your pupil understand routines and expectations

Using visual tools, praise, and reassurance to build confidence

Working closely with the teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff

Creating a safe, predictable learning space where the pupil can thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
