A supportive and welcoming primary school in Hillingdon is looking for an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide consistent, dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs, including ASD and ADHD.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how important stability, routine and trust are for a child who needs extra support. Previous experience working with children in a school or specialist setting is absolutely essential for this role.

The Role
You will work closely with one pupil, supporting them throughout the school day to help them regulate emotions, stay engaged with learning and develop independence. You’ll follow personalised strategies set by the SENCO and teaching staff, while using your own initiative and experience to adapt support when needed.

This is a highly rewarding role for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and seeing real progress over time.

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience working with children in a school or specialist setting – essential
• Experience supporting SEN, particularly ASD and ADHD
• Calm, patient and emotionally intelligent approach
• Confident managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation
• Reliable, consistent and committed to long-term work
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
