Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Support the teacher in delivering lessons and activities, adapting materials as necessary
- Help students with personal care and mobility, if required
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and SENCO
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
- Good understanding of safeguarding procedures
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in supporting students with specific learning difficulties
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within a school setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for occasional additional hours or training sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
