1:1 SEN Support Assistant – Specialist Provision (Durham)
Location: Durham
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
We’re recruiting a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant for a specialist setting supporting pupils with additional needs.
You’ll work closely with one pupil, adapting your support to meet their emotional, behavioural and learning needs. Consistency and patience are key.
Key duties:
• Providing tailored 1:1 SEN support
• Supporting communication and engagement
• Helping pupils manage emotions and routines
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Being a trusted adult throughout the day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
