We are working with a specialist school that is looking for a 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant who can offer patience, encouragement, and a steady presence to a pupil who needs a little extra support. The role is centred around building trust, creating consistent routines, and helping a young person feel confident and settled throughout the school day.
Experience working with children or young people is always useful, but it is not essential. The school is happy to offer guidance to someone who is reliable, compassionate, and willing to learn. If you can stay calm during challenging moments and enjoy helping pupils feel understood, you could be a great match for this role.
