Location: Secondary SEND Setting
Contract: Full-time, Ongoing
This is a pastoral-focused 1:1 role supporting a pupil with SEMH and behavioural needs. You’ll act as a consistent presence, helping the pupil manage emotions, reflect on behaviour, and re-engage with learning following incidents.
Experience with de-escalation, safeguarding awareness, and a calm, non-judgemental approach are key. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Supporting children and young people with additional needs throughout the school day

Assisting with personal care where required, always with dignity and respect

Helping pupils feel safe, regulated and ready to learn

Supporting behaviour, routines and emotional wellbeing

Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
