What the role involves
You’ll be working closely with one pupil who needs personalised support, helping them feel settled, confident and ready to learn. Every child learns differently, so your day will be a mix of structure, creativity and lots of positive reinforcement.
You’ll be supporting with:

Communication and sensory needs

Following structured routines that help the pupil thrive

1:1 support across lessons and activities

Working closely with teachers, SENCO and therapy staff
Who we’re looking for
Someone who is:

Warm, patient and great at building trust

Confident working with children with additional needs
-
Observant, calm and able to adapt as the day unfolds
-
A strong team player with good communication skills
Experience in SEND is ideal, but if you’ve worked in care, youth work, early years or similar roles, your skills will transfer well.
