What the role looks like

Supporting one pupil throughout the school day

Helping with emotional regulation, communication, and classroom routines

Using visual strategies and structured approaches to keep learning accessible

Working closely with the teacher, SENCO, and support team to keep things consistent

Creating a safe, reassuring environment where your pupil feels confident and understood
Who we’re looking for

Someone patient, reliable, and genuinely kind

Experience with SEND is helpful, although transferable experience works well too

A great communicator who builds rapport easily

Someone who can stay calm in busy or challenging moments

A team player who brings positivity to the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
