We’re looking for someone patient, encouraging and ready to offer personalised support to a pupil who needs extra help with learning and daily routines.
What you’ll be doing

Providing consistent 1:1 support to a pupil who benefits from structure and reassurance

Helping them take part in lessons through simple, adapted activities

Offering calm guidance during transitions, sensory moments and tricky parts of the day

Supporting communication, confidence and emotional regulation
-
Working closely with teachers to keep routines clear and expectations consistent
-
Celebrating small steps forward and helping the pupil build independence
Who we’re looking for

Someone who connects well with young people and enjoys helping others succeed

A calm communicator who stays patient under pressure
-
Experience in care, youth work or SEND is helpful but not essential

A team player who brings positivity, reliability and compassion

Someone open to learning new strategies and taking on training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
