Looking for a role where every day feels meaningful? You’re in the right place.

We’re working with several welcoming, community-driven primary schools in Lambeth that are looking for committed 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.

These roles focus on supporting individual pupils with additional needs - whether that’s helping with emotional regulation, learning routines, or boosting confidence in class. You’ll be a consistent, caring presence and a key part of their daily journey.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis in class and during transitions

  • Using clear, kind communication to encourage participation

  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and sometimes external specialists

  • Helping create a safe, inclusive learning space for all pupils

  • Keeping things calm, consistent, and fun—even when it’s a tricky day

You should have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (in schools, care, youth work, etc.)

  • A positive, patient approach with a good sense of humour

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A proactive mindset—you’re the type who gets stuck in

  • Some understanding of SEND (training provided if not)
