Pay: £85–£100 per day (PAYE)

We’re working with specialist SEN schools in Durham looking for Behaviour Support Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEMH, autism, and behavioural needs.
What your day might include:

Supporting one pupil to stay regulated, focused, and safe

Helping manage behaviour using consistent, trauma-informed approaches

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams

Celebrating the small wins, because they matter
You’ll be a great fit if you:

Have experience with SEN, SEMH, behaviour support, or care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
