Course Information: In a world where gaming and technology is becoming a bigger part of young people’s lives, this session will explore the dangers and provide you with the tools to inform, educate and safeguard children and young people against the potential harms and to building awareness and resilience.

Topics Covered Include:

  • Gaming and gambling, including the blurred lines between the two, loot boxes and e-sports

  • Gaming and gambling related harms

  • Spotting the signs of harm and signposting options

  • YGAM’s resource hub, discussing our resources and how to implement them with the young people you work with.
