We are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Redbridge that is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their dedicated team.

The school offers excellent labs and a strong STEM focus, supported by a leadership team committed to staff development. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive staff community focused on academic excellence and student success.

What you’ll be doing:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3–4
• Supporting every student to reach their full potential academically and personally
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation
• Encouraging student growth across academic, creative, sporting, cultural, and personal areas
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and its extra-curricular opportunities

You’ll need:

• QTS with a specialism in Physics or Chemistry
• Proven experience in planning, delivering, and marking lessons
• Strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for Science teaching
• A sound understanding of the UK secondary curriculum
• Previous experience teaching at secondary level, or a strong willingness to grow into the role
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
