Cover Supervisors Needed – Secondary Schools in Bristol

Think of yourself as the captain holding the ship steady when the teacher’s away. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms, keep lessons on track, and give students the guidance they need to keep learning. No planning, no marking – just leading the class, keeping order, and making sure everyone gets the most out of their day.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supervising lessons when teachers are absent

• Delivering pre-prepared work and making sure students stay on task

• Managing behaviour and keeping the classroom calm, focused, and productive

• Being a positive role model and approachable point of support for pupils

What we’re looking for:

• Confident communicators with a strong presence in the classroom

• Experience working with young people (schools, youth groups, coaching, etc.)

• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to think on your feet

• A flexible approach to working across different schools in Bristol

Pay: £100–£120 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
