We’re hiring Teaching Assistants across Tyne and Wear who are confident, engaging and happy to be fully involved in school life. You must be available during term time, Monday to Friday.

Your day could include:

• A quick football match at break
•  Supporting students in lessons
• Supervising PlayStation time at lunch
•  Joining a lunchtime ping pong game
• Building positive relationships that boost confidence

Schools are looking for personality over experience. If you’ve worked in sports, coaching, youth clubs, residential care, retail (with strong people skills) or you’re a graduate exploring education — this could be your route in.

If you’re warm, proactive and ready to be part of school life from breakfast club to the final bell - we want to hear from you.

If you bring energy, patience and confidence, schools will provide the structure and support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
