Providing 1:1 support in the classroom and around the school

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support teams

Creating a positive, inclusive environment, even on the tougher days

Experience working with children or young people, in schools, care, youth work or similar settings

A patient, positive approach and a good sense of humour

Confidence building relationships and staying calm under pressure

A proactive mindset, you see what needs doing and step in

Some understanding of SEND is helpful, and training is provided if you’re keen to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
