Secondary schools across Sunderland are seeking graduates to support pupils with additional learning needs across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role involves working within lessons, delivering targeted interventions, and collaborating closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to help students access the curriculum and stay engaged in learning.

Key Responsibilities for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant:
Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs in the classroom
Providing one-to-one or small-group support
Assisting with planned interventions and tailored support strategies
Promoting inclusive learning and positive engagement
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
Requirements for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant:
A degree in any subject (education, psychology, or related fields welcomed)
Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
A genuine interest in SEND, inclusion, or secondary education
A professional and proactive approach to working in schools
