General Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive schools in Newham.

The Role

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on experience)

• Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities

• Providing one-to-one or small group support

• Helping to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children in a school setting (desirable but not essential)

• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
