Calling all grads with a passion for words and making a difference!

We’re recruiting for a dynamic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school, working to support students with special educational needs (SEN). This is an ideal role for anyone considering a career in teaching—and looking to gain real classroom experience in a supportive setting.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups across lessons

  • Helping adapt materials and boost understanding for pupils with additional needs

  • Assisting teachers with lesson prep, literacy tasks, and classroom routines

  • Encouraging engagement, progress, and confidence in reading and writing

You’ll work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams, learning from experienced educators and building a solid foundation for a future in teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
