Are you a patient, compassionate, and committed individual looking to make a real difference in a child's life? We have inclusive primary schools in Newham seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for bright children who have SEN Needs. 

About the Role:

  • 1:1 classroom support 
  • Supporting with communication, emotional regulation, and focus in class
  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Creating a calm and structured environment to help the pupil thrive
  • Full-time role (Monday to Friday, school hours)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children with Autism (ASD), ideally in a primary school setting
  • A calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trust and positive relationships with children and staff
  • Knowledge of visual timetables, sensory strategies, and EHCP targets is a plus

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
