About the role
We are recruiting an SEN/SEMH Teacher catering to young people with Special Educational Needs and communication & interaction needs. If you are an enthusiastic educator looking to deliver high-quality, personalised teaching in a supportive environment, this is for you.

Key duties:

  • Lead teaching and learning for groups and individual pupils with special educational needs.
  • Design adaptive curriculum pathways that promote independence, wellbeing and academic progress.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including therapists, behaviour support staff and families.
  • Embed strength-based approaches, positive behaviour strategies and inclusive practices.
  • Track, evaluate and report on pupil progress, contributing to their longer-term preparation for adulthood.

What we’re seeking:

  • QTS or QTLS.
  • Experience working in a specialist or SEND setting is highly desired, but not necessary.
  • Strong leadership, communication and relational skills.
  • Creative, flexible and reflective teacher who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and high standards for every pupil.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
