Protocol Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in BS6 who is seeking a Fully Qualified Primary Teacher for a maternity cover role starting in April.

You’ll be joining a team that will ensure you feel confident, encouraged and part of the school community from day one.

The role is within KS2 and offers the stability of a longer term placement, allowing you to build strong relationships with your class, establish routines and see real progress over time. For the right teacher, this is a chance to make a meaningful impact during an important period of continuity for the pupils.

Throughout the placement, you’ll have ongoing support from your dedicated Protocol consultant, who will be there for regular check ins, guidance and anything you need along the way.

The Role:

  • Creating rich lessons and delivering them
  • Working with support staff to maintain a high level of excellence across the school
  • Helping get children at the upper end of KS2 ready for their SATs

A Bit About You:

  •      Comfortable with working with children in KS2
  •      Patient and supportive in the classroom
  •      Fun and a friendly face
  •      Happy to help with absence cover
  •      Understanding of the National Curriculum

What Do We Need to Clear You?

  •      Passport
  •      2 proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill, council tax, P45/60)
  •      CV covering 10 years of all work or education, with gaps accounted for
  •      2 years of references (including childcare - if applicable)
  •      OSPC if you lived overseas for 3 months or more in the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
