Bristol £13.75 - 15.00 per day + PAYE & £250 for Teacher Referral Part Time Teaching 311021117 Posted 1 week ago
Protocol Education is working closely with welcoming nurseries and primary schools across South Bristol to find caring, reliable and flexible Nursery and Early Years Support Staff who love helping little ones feel safe, settled and ready to explore learning.
We’re looking for Nursery Assistants, Early Years Practitioners and Learning Support Staff who enjoy supporting children in their very first stages of education. These roles suit people who bring patience, warmth and consistency, and who understand just how important early relationships are in helping children thrive. At Protocol Education, we pride ourselves on matching staff to short- and long-term roles that fit their experience, preferences and availability.
You’ll mainly be supporting children in EYFS and early KS1, working one-to-one or in small groups. Day to day, you’ll help children feel secure and confident, support play-based learning, early communication, phonics foundations, number awareness and familiar routines. You’ll also model positive behaviour, encourage independence and nurture curiosity through play and exploration.
You’ll be joining caring, inclusive settings where teamwork, kindness and staff wellbeing are genuinely valued.
If you love helping young children take those first important steps in learning, build confidence and feel proud of themselves each day, this could be a really rewarding next role for you.
Why choose Protocol Education?

• Paid per day, with weekly pay

Pay: £13.75-£14.50

• Calm, patient and nurturing by nature
• Friendly, reassuring and confident building trust with young children
• Happy to get involved in play, routines and care-based tasks
• An understanding of individual needs, including SEND
What we need to clear you

• CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained
• Two years of references, including childcare where applicable
