With over 12 years’ experience in education recruitment and operations, I am passionate about driving growth and excellence in the primary sector.
I have progressed through multiple roles at Teaching Personnel from Recruitment Consultant to Branch and Location Manager gaining expertise in operations, client engagement, and team development, now bringing this experience to my role as Head of Primary Sector.
My degree in Psychology and Sociology, combined with hands-on school experience as a Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor, fuels my commitment to supporting educators and students. I hold a Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification and take a collaborative, solution-focused approach to delivering results.
Outside of work, I am a professional dancer (Bhangra and Giddha), performing and delivering workshops in schools and the community. A proud Sikh, I actively volunteer at my local Gurdwara, reflecting my commitment to culture, community, and mentoring others. As a mother of a three-year-old, I am personally invested in the future of education, guided by the principle that the child should always be at the heart of everything we do.
I love working within the Primary Sector, engaging with teams across the business, working on projects that will positively contribute to Schools and of course creativity and fun stuff we get to do with our clients, putting on a dance workshops, photobooths – or even a sip and paint in true primary style!
I am a coffee connoisseur according to my husband. We appreciate a good coffee, if it’s an independent café my go to is Cappuccino or Flat white, but otherwise it’s an Americano with splash of pouring cream (makes it so much smoother) from Starbucks!
I love chick flicks and comedies, but over any film one of my favourite TV shows which I can watch again and again (especially in Autumn) has to be… Gilmore Girls! The small town vibe, Lorelei’s character and of course #CoffeeCoffeeCoffee
