With over 11 years’ experience in SEND education recruitment, I’m passionate about helping schools, MATs, SEND groups, and individual settings build strong, sustainable partnerships that enable every young person to thrive.
I started my career in an ASC school, working closely with non-verbal learners, before moving on to lead national SEND partnerships. I’ve had the privilege of opening and onboarding multiple Alternative Provisions across several counties, and I’ve led specialist SEND recruitment teams remotely, supporting schools nationwide.
As a Team Teach tutor for over a decade, I’ve trained hundreds of educators in de-escalation and positive handling strategies. I also completed a secondment with the Thrive Approach, which deepened my understanding of SEMH and the child development theories that underpin it.
Collaborative, compassionate, and solutions-focused, I’m committed to empowering educators through meaningful training, expert guidance, and partnerships that genuinely make a difference in SEND education.
Being a solution-focused, creative problem solver lets me help schools and educators build strong relationships so every young person can thrive, that’s what gets me out of bed every day.
