SEND Teacher – Autism Provision (Durham)

A specialist SEND setting is looking for a SEND Teacher to support pupils with autism across primary, secondary and post-16 pathways.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering personalised learning tailored to individual needs

• Creating structured, calm classroom environments

• Supporting communication, independence and life skills

• Working closely with support staff, therapists and families

What we’re looking for:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience in SEND or autism-focused settings

• A flexible, child-centred teaching approach

• Confidence adapting curriculum and routines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
