Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Worker

This Durham school places wellbeing at the heart of everything it does. Staff understand that emotional needs can impact learning and behaviour, and they work together to provide consistent, compassionate support. They’re seeking a Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Worker to help pupils feel heard, safe and supported.

Your role will include

• Supporting pupils with emotional and mental health needs

• Promoting positive coping strategies

• Working with small groups and individuals

• Supporting reintegration into the classroom

• Experience supporting young people’s mental health

• A calm, reassuring and supportive approach

• Confidence working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
