Understanding and Supporting Children and Young People with Autism

This course explores the challenges children with autism face and how to help them succeed in a mainstream classroom. This course is aimed at any teachers or support workers that currently work with autistic students, or who may wish to develop skills in this area for future work. The course is a full day. Our trainer initially trained as an ABA Tutor and currently works as a Lead Teacher for autism.

Date: Tuesday 25th October (half-term)
Time: 10.00am to 4.00pm

Understanding and Supporting Children with Challenging Behaviour

Delivered by educational psychologist Dr Joanna Grant, this course looks closely at supporting students with challenging behaviour, providing you with a deeper understanding of the possible reasons for the behaviour(s), and increasing your confidence in supporting students with effective strategies.
