Tough Mudder

10/05/17

Last weekend, 50 Protocol Education staff (the filthy fifty) descended upon Henley on Thames in West London for an extreme team-building day.

Have you heard of Tough Mudder? Well we participated in Tough Mudder's love child, the Half Mudder. Consisting of a 5 mile run with 13 obstacles ranging from ‘The Block Ness Monster’ to ‘Everest 2.0’, and mud. Lots of mud.

As exhausting as it was, we had a fantastic day. Here's some of the feedback we received:

‘Tough Mudder was a fantastic team building experience! I was very proud of my team for showing the grit and determination required to finish the course in very difficult conditions- well done team!’

‘Team work makes the dream work!’ Couldn’t have done it without the team

“I have a new found respect for each and every person who took part, it’s amazing how a group of people who work together in such a competitive environment can pull together and work so effortlessly as a team. A great metaphor for protocol as a whole.. chaotic, competitive and stressful at times, but a honest want to see everyone around you succeed.. and laughing all the way of course!! I have a big muddy foot print left in my heart!!”
Head Office

'I found Tough Mudder to be a great challenge, and really enjoyed the teamwork it took to finish the course. I would do it all again tomorrow'
