Testimonial: Working with Protocol Education as a Supply Teacher

11/10/18

To begin with, I was on the books of four teaching agencies in London. Very quickly, and not at all by chance, I dropped the other three, and put myself in the care of just one, Protocol Education. I had noticed the team were very different from the other agency teams, and my relationship with them was secured by the care and detail they put into their work.

These are the ways that they do this:

They develop a friendly relationship with you as one of their teachers. You get to know the team, and from phone calls alone, you can gather that they have a positive and efficient atmosphere amongst them. Unlike other agencies, I have never been put under any pressure to undertake any assignment which I did not wish too. There is complete transparency as to what is expected of you, and what you will expect from your assignments. Nothing is sugar coated. They will work hard for you to find you schools that will benefit from you being there, and that you will feel comfortable and happy being at. This being said, to benefit from a well-oiled machine, you must play your part well in the mechanism. If you are a positive, well-mannered and hard-working teacher, you will find that what you put in you will definitely get in return.

I cannot say enough in praise of Rina Bhudia. She is my consultant and she goes above and beyond. Rina has introduced me to a whole range of schools, all of which strengthen my skills as a teacher in different ways, and one school of which I have become quite fond of. If you want to build a relationship with a school that you like, and you offer them the best you can each day, Rina will absolutely help you with this as much as she can. Communication with Rina is a breeze, and if you’re good at keeping your diary updated on the system, Rina will work with you to book you into your favourite schools with such ease. At the end of the day, what is the real advantage of having Rina as your consultant is being able to call her at the end of a school day to discuss how it went, what the school was like, and this and that. You really do have someone working with you on your team. She’s got your back and that really is a very brilliant thing to have. A very rare thing too, as I have found, and if more consultants were like Rina, well, perhaps we all don’t deserve that quite yet.

The rest of the Protocol team I have not worked with as much as with Rina, but from what I have heard, they share her standards and are excellent too. I am lucky to have found them.

In this busy city, loyalty and dedication can be put down the list of priorities. They seem to be on the top of the list at Protocol Education.

Best wishes and take good care,

Jack M.
