Mastering Maths in KS2

13/03/15

Our CPD Product Manager Trisha recently received her copy of TeachIt Primary.

This week I received my e-newsletter from TeachIt Primary where they share Top Tips for various areas of teaching and learning each month. In this edition their tips were focused around mastering numbers – multiplication and division at Key Stage 2. TeachIt Primary shared 5 different activities that you could do with individual students, groups of students or whole classes that make Maths fun!

Not only do they share their ideas in the newsletter you can also download the resources and a longer description to go along with the tips. I know that when I was teaching I often struggled with creative ideas in Maths to keep my students engaged and any suggestions given were very much welcomed!

Here is a link to the online newsletter and make sure you register with them so you can receive monthly tips straight to your inbox!
