Headteacher Interviews – Classroom Advice

01/12/14

Prue Barnes is the respected headteacher of Newport Primary School in Leyton, East London. Originally trained in Australia, she came to England as a supply teacher 19 years ago; since then she has taught across London and, as she moved into more senior roles, has helped a number of failing schools to become successful.

In this video, Prue gives her advice for managing behaviour in UK classrooms, and also gives tips on how to work with teaching assistants.
